P-Card Usage

U.S. Procedure

P-Card policy is managed by FINANCE - production relevant finance links located at the end of this page

P-Cards are to be used for low dollar (500.00 and lower in a single transaction) large volume purchases, non-invoiced/PO purchases, or “on the spot” buys that, due to timing or money, do not warrant an invoice or PO.
To request usage of the P-card, email Sergio with Gabriela on CC with a description of what you're looking to purchase, where you would like to purchase it from, price quote, and your Project ID.
You can check out the card with Sergio and Gabriela to bring with you on your shoot to cover incidentals, but you must be consistent with good purchasing practices.
The card may be used with any allowable supplier that accepts credit cards as a form of payment. P-Cards may not be attached to any personal accounts such as Seamless, Amazon, PayPal or Uber/Lyft. This will cause the card to become disabled.

ACCEPTABLE PURCHASES

P-Cards may be used for the following:

Crafty only (production meals must be pre-approved before being purchased with the P-card)
Excess Baggage (for equipment only)
Gas for rental cars while on shoot (receipts must be printed to show the total cost with gallons pumped and price per gallon)
Small office items (not covered by vendor contract)
Supplies while in the field (as long as they don't fall on the unacceptable list)
Wardrobe/ props purchases
