Take 5 Copycat Recipe

COPYCAT TAKE 5 RECIPE:

Ingredients

Bag of Pretzels Snaps (squares)

Bag of Rolos

1/3 Cup of Dry Roasted Peanuts (Salted or Unsalted)

1/4 Cup Butter at room temp (Salted or Unsalted)

1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter (ONLY use creamy)

1 Cup Powdered Sugar

2 Cups of Chocolate Chips (I used semi-sweet choc chips, but you can use any

chocolate you prefer. *I needed more than 1 bag)

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

Make your peanut butter mixture first - In a medium size bowl, combine butter, peanut butter and powdered sugar. Cream until blended well, set aside.  Next, place pretzels side by side on a cookie sheet and place one rolo on top of each.  Place pretzels and rolos in oven and bake for 4-5 minutes, long enough for the rolos to become soft. Remove pretzels and rolos from oven and lightly press the rolos down into the pretzels with a spoon.  Next step, press 3 to 4 peanuts on each pretzel/rolo.  Now take a small spoonful of the peanut butter mixture in your hands, and mold a square or circle top, enough to cover the tops of the pretzels (see picture).  Final step, in a medium size microwave safe bowl, melt your chocolate chips in the microwave for 45 secs to 1 minute, maybe longer depending on your microwave - checking often and stirring.  Once melted, dip each in the chocolate, removing excess chocolate and place them back on wax covered cookie sheet.  Chill in the fridge to set the chocolate for about 10 minutes.  ENJOY!
