Ingredients
1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 1/2 Tablespoons McCormick Grill Mates Sweet & Smoky Rub *(if using 2 pounds of chicken, use up to 2 tablespoons of rub)
1 cup Coca-Cola
bottle of favorite barbecue sauce or homemade
favorite rolls/buns for sandwiches
Directions
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in cooker. Sprinkle chicken evenly with rub then pour Coca-Cola around the chicken.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours. Adjust cooking times according to how fast or slow your cooker cooks. My chicken is ready in 3 hours on high.
When ready, remove chicken and discard liquid, reserving approximately 1/3 cup of the liquid in the slow cooker. Place chicken back in cooker and shred using two forks.
Pile pulled chicken high on rolls and top with your favorite BBQ sauce and toppings, like coleslaw. Enjoy!
