Great job to everyone on our Call Center last week! You sold 285 units! That's fantastic!
Go ahead and start collecting money now. Do not turn in your money until you have collected ALL of it.
Cookie Dough will be delivered on Tuesday, October 15th. Please be prepared to pick up your order and deliver to your customers after school that day.
Don't forget to let Mr. Carter know! The best way is to text the Band Hotline: (912) 549-0262. You can also email Mr. Carter at hank.carter@screven.k12.ga.us, or send a message via Remind. It is NOT good enough to tell a friend, "Hey, I won't be there because of ____." You need to TELL MR. CARTER DIRECTLY.
We have a woodwind sectional after school on Monday this week (Sept. 28) and a brass sectional next week (October 5). These mandatory rehearsals run until 5 p.m.
Our next Band Booster meeting is TUESDAY OCTOBER 6, at 6:15 p.m. This is an online meeting using Google Meet. Attendance at meetings has been sparse; if we continue to have only two parents in attendance, we will not continue to have meetings.
On a computer: Navigate to https://meet.google.com/tht-mfrn-cfx. No software required.
On your phone:
Download the Google Meet app, or click the "Meet" button at the bottom of your GMail window. Use the code tht-mfrn-cfx to join the meeting.

Our BAND photos were made on JULY 17th. However, It’s not too late to order photos. They provide our yearly BIG composite that we hang on the wall every year. The only income the photographers receive are when parents purchase portraits. Please support this project by purchasing a package.
Order picture packages and photo gifts online.
Please visit http://pdiportraits.com.
P.S.—Don’t forget about ordering pictures and photo gifts for family members.
Thank you for your help.
If you have earned your varsity letter (meaning you completed two FULL SEASONS of marching band), you can order a letter jacket. The sales rep will be at SCHS before school Tuesday morning, October 13th. Bring your money and order form ON (not before) October 13th, or order online (http://www.neffco.com/Varsity-Jackets - SCHS Password: 073618). Letter jacket orders go directly to the sales rep; do not bring letter jacket money to Mr. Carter. The order form is below; jackets are $140.
DURING BAND CLASS: Masks are required as you enter the band area, while you are in the instrument storage room (lockers), and at the start of band class. Go directly to your assigned seat in class. Obviously, you will need to remove your mask in order to play (except percussion). Put your mask back on if another section is working. Masks must be put on when we pack up at the end of class.
AFTER SCHOOL: Just like during band camp, masks should be worn at the start of rehearsal, during transitions, and at dismissal. Now that we are starting our regular after-school routine, we will not be doing screening/temperature checks before practice. Please stay home if you are sick. Please go home if you get sick during the school day.
