Go sell those Butter Braids! Profits go towards your spring trip. Orders are due with payment no later than NOVEMBER 4th. Delivery is December 12. Make checks payable to SCHS.
Now that our competitive season is completed, we go to once a week rehearsals on Thursdays after school. These rehearsals are mandatory; please notify your coaches and plan to be there.
Our football team won this past Friday, so our playoff hopes are still alive. My understanding is that if we win this Friday against Glenn Hills, we are in! The band WILL TRAVEL to the first round playoff game this year, so please plan accordingly.
Our next Band Booster meeting is next week -- Tuesday, November 5, at the new time of 6:00 p.m. Students are welcome to attend booster meetings WITH AN ADULT.
We have only four after-school Symphonic Band rehearsals leading up to our Christmas Concert. They are 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. on the following dates:
November 12
November 21
December 5
December 9
The concert is on Tuesday, December 10, starting at 7 p.m.

Students are welcome to stay in the Band Room between 3:15 (the end of school) and report time. On game days, you must either leave campus or come directly to the Band Room after school. Students who stay must remain in the Band Room area. SCHS Administration will send students home if they are wandering around the main school building on Friday afternoons.
The shirt with white letters outlined in black is no longer allowed as a part of the Summer Uniform. These shirts are for sale to band family members for $12, or to the general public for $15.
STUDENTS: JOIN THE MARCHING BAND GOOGLE CLASSROOM PAGE if you haven’t already! Be sure you are logged in to your Screven email/google account. The join code is hg47y6. (Be sure all the letters are lower-case.) This is the first place you should look if you realize you have lost your music!

December 14 - Christmas Parade and Cookies with Santa. Marching Band, report to SCHS at 5:30 p.m. Symphonic Band, report to the Farmer's Market immediately following the parade.
