HOMECOMING: School Spirit Day! Pep Rally at the end of the school day; band will play.
REPORT 5:30 p.m. - Homecoming Game vs. Josey
ATTIRE: FULL UNIFORM!
Homecoming Dance begins after the football game.

Our next Band Booster meeting is this Tuesday, October 1. The time was changed to 6:00 p.m. Students are welcome to attend booster meetings WITH AN ADULT. This meeting is extremely important because we will discuss details of our spring trip to Florida.

Check the Band Calendar - we have added a short Wednesday after-school rehearsal before each of our remaining competitions.

When you stay after school for rehearsals, please stay out of the bus pickup area until 3:30. As soon as the bell rings at the end of 7th period, make your way to the Band Room.

Students are welcome to stay in the Band Room between 3:15 (the end of school) and report time. On game days, you must either leave campus or come directly to the Band Room after school. Students who stay must remain in the Band Room area. SCHS Administration will send students home if they are wandering around the main school building on Friday afternoons.

are coming up in December. If you paid your audition fee, you need to start practicing for the audition! Scales and etudes can be downloaded from the GMEA website.

Band members who have earned a varsity letter can order a letter jacket. Bring your letter and $140 on Wednesday, October 16th, between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m. The sales rep will take your letter and your payment; jackets will be delivered in December. See the Neff flyer at the bottom of this newsletter for more.

The shirt with white letters outlined in black is no longer allowed as a part of the Summer Uniform. These shirts are for sale to band family members for $12, or to the general public for $15.
