MEMBER SHIRTS - PAY YOUR $30

New UA member shirts were given out last week.  If you have not yet paid, please do so as soon as possible.

BAND FEES = DEBT LIST

Students who still owe money towards band fees (including the new UA member shirts) will be put on the debt list THIS WEEK.  If you are on the debt list, you cannot partcipate in club day, among other things.  Seniors who are still on the debt list cannot participate in graduation until all debts are paid.   Remember you can pay all debts online now - scroll down for details.

CAROLINA BAND DAY - SEPT. 6

Need your music printed?  No problem, but remember it is MUCH EASIER to print music for you BEFORE or AFTER SCHOOL (not before or after class).

8:00 a.m.      REPORT to SCHS; water bottles/ice; load buses

11:00 a.m.    lunch in Columbia (fast food - bring $$)
12noon        Check in at Spurrier Indoor Football Practice Facility
12:45 p.m.   Rehearsal with Carolina Band
3:00 p.m.     Break; Chick-fil-A lunch/dinner (included)
4:10 p.m.     Walk to Williams-Brice Stadium
7:00 p.m.     Kickoff
HALFTIME - perform with Carolina Band

After halftime, we will load and return to SCHS.

Approximate return time is 11:45 p.m.

Have you completed the background check and Mandated Reporter training?  THIS MUST BE COMPLETED or you cannot travel with us, and there are NO REFUNDS.
  

HIGH SCHOOL BAND DAY at Georgia Southern

BE READY FOR AFTER-SCHOOL REHEARSALS

Remember, denim is not allowed at rehearsal, and you must have the right shoes.  Make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day so you will be ready for the heat after school.

Also, let's talk SHOES.  Hey Dudes are TERRIBLE for rehearsal!  Do not wear them!  You need a shoe that supports and moves with you, and Hey Dudes are NOT that.

MARCHING BAND COMPETITIONS

We will compete twice this season:

• Saturday, September 27th:  "Band Blast" at Southeast Bulloch HS.

• Saturday, October 25th:  East Georgia Marching Band Championships at Statesboro HS.

Competition days are an all-day affair, so please plan accordingly.

LETTER JACKET ORDERS - October 7

If you earned a varsity letter last year (or earlier), you can order a letter jacket!  Bring your varsity letter and an order form before school on Tuesday, Oct. 7th.  The sales rep will be outside the lunch room before school.  OR, you can order online:  https://www.neffco.com/neffjacketshop
