Abstract Shoe

For this drawing I took one of the zoomed in drawings of my shoe and drew it even bigger. I then added colors that brightened up the dull pattern to something new and creative. In the drawing it takes place outside. As you can see there are leaves and a pumpkin for Fall , snow flakes for Winter, the color pink and light blue for spring, and a sun for summer. These are for the 4 seasons. I decided to chose this because I'm in love with nature and how naturally beautiful it all is. Then in the middle is an elephant that has water dripping from its trunk. My favorite part about this drawing is the elephant because I love elephants they are my favorite animal. I try to incorporate elephants into many pieces of my artwork. I tried to make sure the colors were balanced. How I did this was when I added color to one side I added a different color to the other. It was challenging making sure the colors were solid because for this project I used colored pencils. I could work on making the lines less streaky next time, but I did a good job with filling the piece with bright colors.
