Salley 'Meyer' Koberlein

Salley Meyer is without question the premier female cross country and distance runner in Madison High School history, not to mention the State of South Dakota! She was the team MVP for five straight years in each cross country and track and field and yet today holds MHS records in the medley relay, the open 800, 1600, and 3200 meter runs. Salley was a three-time State Champion and two-time runner-up at the State Cross Country meets. The cross-country and track teams that she competed on placed in the top 8 at State seven years including a runner-up finish in the ’98 State Cross-Country meet. Her track and field highlights are her 4 individual 3200 M titles, 1 individual 1600 M title, 1 Medley Relay title, and 9 other top 4 place finishes!
