Jenessa Goeman

Here is a young lady that excelled at many things during her time at MHS. Jenessa started her gymnastics career with MHS as a seventh grader after a successful club career, and was a strong force of MHS gymnasts who earned first place team honors at State for 16 years straight, at the time was a National record. During her six year she earned 30 medals at state, 9 of those being individual State Championships. She earned State Individual All-Around honors her last two years. She was a 6-time All-Tournament team recipient. In track & field she earned 5 individual and 5 relay top seven finishes. The girl’s track & field team placed in the top 7 all four years. Jenessa has top 10 times in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles and the 4 x 200 relay on the MHS Honor Roll. She also played basketball, lettering two years and was a captain on the 2002 team that were Consolation Champions (5th place) at the State ‘A’ Basketball Tournament. Jenessa was honored as an Elite 15 Athlete in 2002.
