Kevin DeCurtins

Kevin started his career in Ethan, where he was head track & field all 3 years, head boys basketball for 1 year and assistant girls’ basketball for all 3. In 1978 Kevin started his career in Madison and he coached four different sports during his 36 year career. 23 years of girls’ basketball with 13 of those as head coach. Kevin took the girls to State twice, placing 5th in 1994 and 7th in 1995 and accumulated a 145 – 127 record over this span. He spent his entire career in the track & field program while directing the varsity boys and girls for seven very productive years. His boys’ teams had 4 top three finishes including the 2012 State Championship. The girls’ team was equally impressive with 5 top three finishes including runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2014. Best of all were the two combined Team Championships won in 2010 and 2012. Kevin also spent 18 seasons in the boys’ basketball program and 22 seasons in the volleyball program.
