Doug Fields

Doug was a three-year letter in football, basketball, and track and field. In 1960 he was All-State football – third team. Doug was the anchor leg of the State Championship mile relay in 1960 and 1961 as well as anchoring the medley relay to a State Championship in 1961. His medley relay team was runners-up in 1960. Doug’s mile relay team set the All-Time South Dakota record in 1961. He was Madison High Schools record holder in the 880 yard run, mile relay, and medley relay
