Donald 'Bud' Weiland

For more than 2 decades, Bud Weiland was the ultimate Bulldog fanatic. He would be seen at all Bulldog Athletic Events. Bud supplied the Ambulance service to each and every football game and always said, “I’ve got the BEST seat in the house”, while serving on the Lake Central School District board for multiple terms. While on the board as chairman, Bud made one very big ‘tie-breaking’ vote, to move forward with the all-weather track @ Trojan Field. If you were at track and field meets, you would have spotted him working the high jump event as well as assisting with any other event going on. As Danny Barker told me, “If I needed someone to work or help with anything, Bud was the man”.
