Brooke 'Postma' Edgar

Brooke earned 18 varsity letters (6-CC, Gym, T&F) and 5 club sport letters and Brittany earned 17 varsity letters (5-CC, 6-Gym, & T&F) and 6 club sport letters. She was on 9 State Championship teams, and Brooke was MVP twice in T&F. She was on 4 State Championship relay teams with Brooke anchoring all four. Their 2005 4x100 relay team still holds the Class ‘A’ State Record and they were the ‘Gold’ medal winners that year as well. School record holders in the 4x100 and 4x200 and top 10 in the 200, 400, 4x400, and long jump. After high school Brooke attended SDSU and lettered all 4 years for the Jackrabbits softball team. Brooke earned newcomer of the year in the Summit League in 2006, holds the single season and career records for stolen bases and was 2nd team all-conference twice. One of her greatest highlights in their athletic career was being chosen to play/start against the 2008 USA Olympic Softball team.
