Bob Appelwick

Appelwick attended MHS from 1952-56. He was active in basketball, football and track. Appelwick was a member of the 1956 ESD championship basketball team and placed fifth in individual scoring in the conference both his junior and senior year of high school. He was named to the first team of the Class A boys basketball team in senior year and also had several first-place finishes his junior year in the discus, eventually winning the Howard Wood Relay competition. Appelwick held the school discus record for several years.
