Jim Havlik

Jim was the business manager at MHS for 13 years. During those years he worked at every track & field meet and wrestling match or tournament. During the late 80’s and 90’s Madison athletics were at an all-time high across the board and Jim was one of the main reasons for that. He along with the Athletic Director’s made sure our coaches and athletes had what was necessary to compete at the highest level. Any teacher, coach, or administrator will tell you that Jim was wonderful to work with, especially when it involved our student/athletes. Jim had a favorite line he used repeatedly, “if it is for the students/athletes it must be important, so let’s do it!”
