Heith Janke

Heith was a three-sport letter winner, while lettering in cross-country for 6 years, track and field for 4 years and basketball 2 years. He was a two-time State Champion in cross country as well as the MHS record holder. Heith added three State Championships in the 3200 meter run and he was a two-time State Champion in the 1600 meter run. In 1994 he was named male track and field athlete of the year at the State Meet. He was the starting guard for the 1994 third-place state basketball tournament team.
