SAFE, HAPPY, LEARNING, RESPECTFUL
Lots of fun outdoors continues in Nursery, the children have been exploring lots of different sensory in the water tray, 'baking' in the mud kitchen, drawing, jumping, climbing, building, dancing and so, so, so much more.........
We are creating our own Fairy Gardens! We have begun to build little fairy gardens in our outdoor area as well as indoors..... we have added lots of real life and natural materials to these areas and the children are fully engaged in imaginative play in these areas....
time for a team goodbye!
This week we have also been reviewing our growing and planting. In February and March we were in the pollytunnel planting seeds in earth and pots. We've been watering them and bringing them out into the sunshine to help them grow. Time to bring them home!
We also have some fruit growing in our garden, they are ripening and we are on the hunt for an early harvest!
We have learned alot from growing our own fruit . . . now it's time to learn about fruit from a hot country! And what better way than with the Handa Surprise story!
It was tricky to do without holding the edges . . .
. . . but Mrs McKay managed!
We have news of our baby chicks! They hatched! And they chirped alot (thanks to some recordings!) We were so excited!
