SAFE, HAPPY, LEARNING, RESPECTFUL
That's Term 1 finished and what a busy term it has been! Happy Holidays everyone!
It's been a really busy week! Here is a snapshot of pictures of our week.
What a fantastic morning it was for a Sponsored Cycle/Scoot. Well done to the riders and to the crowd cheering them on. As a class we managed to cycle just under 25 miles in 10 minutes. That's a fab achievement!
Another busy week in P3! Have a look at our pictures from Get Going Get Busy this week. This gets us started each morning before we work hard in all the curriculum areas. Our reading is underway and in maths we have been learning about Place Value, using really tricky numbers. This week we have started Talk for Writing, our story is called Ronald the Rhino.
In PE this week we were learning to play Uni-hoc, it was great fun.
Yesterday we had our first Kodaly session, it was great fun!
We managed to get outdoor for PE once this week, our other session was indoors. We were playing games which focussed on following instructions and listening.
This week's Get Going Get Busy focussed on improving our fine motor skills.
Have a look at our brilliant art work. We were learning about warm and cold colours.
Have a look at some of our Get Going Get Busy tasks we do each morning!
We have all settled well into P3 over the last 2 weeks. We have been busy setting routines, going over the school rules, building relationships and busy completing assessments. It has been great getting to know you all and getting a wee glimpse into the special people you all are! Here are some pictures of some of the activities we have been doing to help build relationships in the classroom.
