P6 have been upcycling their old Christmas baubles to make a new Christmas wreath. We unraveled old coat hangers and threaded the baubles in a variety of patterns and sizes. We ran out of baubles so decided to use tinsel to fill in any gaps.
Christmas crafts have officially started in Primary 6 today! At first we thought these adorable tree decorations were going to be a little too tricky but with the help of the brownies in our class (and a lot of concentration) we were able to make some super additions to our Christmas trees. Take a look for yourself!
This week P6 have been trying to understand what makes us us.
We decided that one of the biggest things that defines us is our personality.
As a class, we felt that the movie 'Inside out' explains personalities in the easiest way for us all to understand. The movie explains that our personality stems from positive core memories- things that have happened in our life that we remember and want to continue.
We have also decided to look at the rights of the child to see if and when our learning connects with the, In this case we felt that article 29 linked perfectly!
Each core memory in our lives powers an island of our personality. Everyone in P6 took some time to reflect on their memories and choose one that has sparked an interest or hobby. Here are all the fantastic results.
Primary 6 have been busy creating a beautiful decoration for the hall. They did a great job planning and creating this tree by themselves. Unfortunately Mrs. Brooks was not allowed to be the star as P6 preferred her pup Lexi, better luck next time Mrs. B!
