SAFE, HAPPY, LEARNING, RESPECTFUL
What a busy time we've had in term 3. Happy Easter holidays to you all!
We had a go at making our own Stone Age cave art. P3 drew fantastic pictures using charcoal and oil pastels.
With all the lovely weather we had this week our theme for Get Going Get Busy was Spring.
Red Nose Day fun!
We had Rosalind from Kodaly back visiting this week, she was teaching us about 'pitch'.
In PE this week we were working on partner balances. It was really tricky!
We were learning about the types of houses/shelters throughout the different Stone Age periods. We then had a go at making our own from clay.
Another busy week in P3!
World Book Day Part 2
Outdoor Book Hunt - Guess the title of the book. We also did a maths task with the books we brought in from home.
World Book Day Part 1
We had some book characters join us for PE today!
That's the end of another busy week in P3! Have a fantastic February break everyone.
This weeks Get Going Get Busy had a Chinese New Year theme.
We borrowed a box of Stone Age artefacts from the museum. We had a look at some spears, dishes, arrowheads and an antler saw. It was great to see and be able to touch these artefacts.
The Big Bad Wolf sent P3 a letter this afternoon. He was feeling sad because the woodcutters had cut down all the trees in the forest and he had no where to live. He asked P3 if they could build a new home for him. This is the 'hook' that we will be using that leads us into our writing for the next few weeks.
A short week in school but we still worked hard. We have started basketball and have been working hard to improve our dribbling skills.
Term 3 Organiser - useful dates and a brief overview of what we will be covering this term.
Welcome back to everyone, looking forward to a fab term 3!
