SAFE, HAPPY, LEARNING, RESPECTFUL
Primary 6 were completing their class talks this week on World War II leaders. We learned lots about Winston Churchill, Franklin D Roosevelt, Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Neville Chamberlain and Mao Zedong. The talks were all excellent and well researched. Very well done P6!

We were learning about Operation Market Garden. This was a mission where paratroopers were used in World War II.
Miss Stewart challenged us to create a parachute and pod to allow an egg to safely land on the ground! We had great fun! Here are some of our attempts.
This term we have been learning all about World War II. We started by researching the causes of the war and then moved on to learn about the main events of the war.
We enjoyed deciding what we would spend our rationing coupons on and learning about evacuees. Here are Amber and Ella wearing the Evacuee tags they made!
It is lovely to be back to school for Term 3. We have lots of things to look forward to this term including our swimming lessons starting and Bible Alive. Please see our termly organiser for more detail on our learning for this term.
