We continue to explore numbers by ordering, estimating them and subitising them in our games of dominoes. i

We have been looking at caring for others and showing responsibility.
We learnt that all children have rights and we should be treated all the same. We found out that adults have to do what is best for us when they care and look after us.
We played. and cared for the babies. We talked about pregnancy and how a mum has to take care for their body to help their baby. We had some real life surgeries to help the babies to be born. Some children looked at all the things they needed to do to care for baby including changing a nappy, washing, feeding them and even burping them with our special sick bib.
We had great fun on our teddies day while raising money for charity.
We played hairdressers after reading about Kipper's first visit to the hairdressers. We made the same sign that is in the that is in the reading book.
Well done to this responsible Primary Two. She was voted our pupil council rep by her classmates.
Every day we are working hard on our literacy skills.
Play and Talk is huge part of our day. We learn to listen, take turns in talking, express our ideas, thoughts, feelings and become better friends.
A huge target for us all is to develop our fine motor skills. We do this with pegging, threading, playing with dough and feeding bob the ball with tweezers and gems. "Bob is fun to feed. I like when he is full and I get to squeeze all the gems out of him."
Mark making through paint, chalk and other methods allows us to communicate messages through pictur. s and words.
We liked the opposite game this week as we had match the pictures and it was good to read the words with Miss Penman to help. "
We like to act out games, talk about stories and this week we have worked hard on retelling the story of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears."
Lastly we like to talk and share our play learning with our teachers and friends before tidy up time.
MESSY and CREATIVE play!
