Here is some of our end of term Easter fun! Egg hunts, crafts, cutting, writing, games, dancing, outdoor adventures and so much more!
We hope you have all had a lovely holiday and we are looking forward to seeing you back on Tuesday.
What a fabulous Friday we had! So much fun for Red Nose day! We had so many smiles and laughs in P1 today. Super sports people with skipping, class games, hockey, running beat the goalie and dancing. Our energetic wee ones loved it so much they went off out to try and do some more at break! We built and drew habitats for our red nose creatures and designed our own red nose faces. We were so tired in the afternoon we had some rest and relax time together. This week has also seen more troll adventures and writing, doubles, halves, sounds, handwriting, reading, recycling and some joyful singing. What a wonderful week!
Here are a few snaps from the last few weeks. Lots of amazing learning, problem solving and kindness going on.
PE: working hard on developing our stamina taking part in fitness sessions.
Literacy: being so careful sounding out our words and writing our letters
Maths: fun with fractions
The biggest excitement this week has been..... we found clues that a troll has visited our school! There was goo and hair, leftover food and notes left. The buzz for talking and writing about this has been fantastic to see.
Silver Card Super Star: offering to help adults in the school
Silver Card Super Stars: being responsible in out playground
World Book Day
It was great to have lots of fun with books today. We shared lots of stories together, made reading dens, talked about our books from home, made brilliant book covers and tried to guess which books were the teachers favourites when they were little. Great to see so many happy wee faces today developing their love for literacy.
A silver card superstar! For being so responsible!
Outdoor joy, learning about clocks, data handling and pretty patterns!
2022 has got off to a flying start in P1! Busy learning and having fun as always!
Here are some wee snapshots of what we have been up to the last few weeks.
We have set new year targets and developed interests in jigsaws and writing our sounds and our own words
We have been thinking about times of the day, calendars, sequencing and place value in maths
We are enjoying gymnastics for PE - working on our balancing and rolling skills
A silver card superstar! For being so helpful to others.
