Nardine Ishak

Nardin Ishak, a hard-working senior and ambitious member of The Highlander staff, is starting her fourth year in journalism and her second year as a newspaper reporter and editor. She is Egyptian and moved here to the U.S three years ago. She's her family's personal translator. She currently works as a Certified Nurse Assistant/CNA at a local hospital. She is president of the National Honors Society and a member of Dees Corner Cafe. She enjoys drawing, listening to music, baking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends. After watching an open heart surgery, she would like to be a cardiologist or cardiothoracic surgery Physician Assistant.
