Both varsity and junior varsity Cheer competed in a virtual competition hosted by McMinneville High School on March 18-21.

Both teams recorded a video the week of the event and submitted it by the evening of March 18. Judging of the videos took place on Saturday, March 20, and the awards ceremony took place live on Sunday evening, March 21.

Varsity competed against four other teams and placed 2nd. Oregon City High School took 1st. JV competed against three other teams and placed 1st. The competition performance included Game Day, which is a simulation of a football game performance. The David Douglas performances included a dance to band music, situational chant (offense or defense), a crowd-leading chant, and finally the school fight song. The team used pre-recorded music from the school band.

There will be two more competitions with this material. The Game Day Championships take place on April 3. After April 3, they will switch to the "Traditional" cheer competition routine.
