This lesson explores the topic of linguistic discrimination while working on discussion and speaking skills.
This lesson explores accent discrimination and teaches accent appreciation as it relates to language identity.
This lesson covers bilingualism and identity, focusing on listening and reading skills, as well as a final poster project.
Students will be reflecting on their learning by completing a final project in the form of a vision board. The vision board will include aspects of their personal identity and how they will use it to resist Standard American English and Linguistic Discrimination.
