Length of Activity: 10-15 minutes
Materials:
Pieces of paper with activities or industries; tape to attach pieces of paper to back
Learning objectives:
SWBAT identify the major contributors to carbon pollution drawing from their previous knowledge
SWBAT formulate questions using synonyms and other vocab
Steps:
1. The students will be given different pieces of paper with some activities or industries that have a carbon footprint., such as 'dairy industry', 'airplane'.
2. The students will have to stick them in their backs and go around the room asking trying to describe each others. Every word will have some 'taboo' terms that cannot be said while describing. For example:
Traveling by plane
TABOO terms: fly, air, transport, pilot, wings, sky
