General Resources

Voices of America (VOA) is a free multimedia source of news and information for global English learners. This program is designed for teachers. It provides free online training for English language educators worldwide

Adobe Spark Project Resources

These videos are intended for teacher-use and serves as an introduction to the Adobe Spark software. These video may not be suitable for student-use as they have been made by native speakers. It's recommended to use these videos as a reference when introducing students to the software. 

Lesson 1: Impacts of Heating Upon the Ocean

Audio Lingual Method: Introduction

Choral Reading and Backwards Build-Up Drills are most often associated with the Audio-Lingual Method of teaching English. This video, made in 1990 serves as an introduction to the method which includes a demonstration of both Choral Reading and Backwards Build Up Drills. This was a joint project by Diane Larsen-Freeman and the U.S. Information Agency.  

Choral Reading Resources

Both the video (left) and the (below) article are from Reading Rockets, a multimedia project collective that provides resources for improving the reading capability of young learners. However, these resources serve as good introductory level information to the Choral Reading exercise that is often implemented in  ESL/EFL/ESOL classrooms around the world as well.

Health Vocabulary Resources

These resources were used to create Appendix A from Lesson 2. Appendix A from Lesson 2 does not include every vocabulary word that is introduced in these resources. These are intended for teacher-use as a means of becoming familiar with the material and for reference if changes are needed to the Appendix A list of vocabulary words.

These videos were all created by Voices of America (VOA) Learning English, a free multimedia source of news and information for global English learners. VOA Learning English that publishes content for the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. These videos are specifically apart of their "Everyday Grammar" programming.
