Alternate Assessment/Final Project
Presentation or poster
Ask students to put together a slideshow or poster about fashion, how it's portrayed, your opinion, and changes we can make to the industry or personal changes to consider.
Debate for & against fast fashion
You can assign students to one side or assign them to represent special interest groups (e.g. Shein representatives, local tailors, environmental activists, low-income consumers, etc.). Create a debate between the groups to assess vocabulary and content knowledge.
