You Shall be Called Hephzibah, My Delight!
***What Does Isaiah 62:2 TRULY mean?
Here is Isaiah 62:2 from the KJV. “And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.”
I cover the answer to the question, “What is the NEW NAME of Jesus?” in the two-part study called D-23. What is the NEW NAME of Jesus? Part 1., and D-24. What is the NEW NAME of Jesus? Part 2.
But for now, just briefly, the new name of Jesus is Yah, and Yahweh our righteousness.
In other words, God gave His human Son His very own divine nature to be having in himself, even as the Father has life in Himself.
And ALSO, God GAVE the Son of MAN, Jesus, all power and authority to JUDGE the world, according to John 5:26,27, because he was the Son of MAN.
Thus, God’s new King over the earth during the world to come will rule as God, FOR his God and Father, in the NAME of Yahweh, the Creator, who MADE His human Son both Lord and Messiah after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36.

Bridegroom and Bride Become ONE in Unity!
Sadly, some Christians have never been taught the UNDENIABLE FACT that the Son of MAN, Jesus, was given a NEW NAME after the cross and resurrection.
So, let us begin chapter 9 by reading a prophecy of Jesus in Isaiah 62:2.
Please read Isaiah 62:1-5.
“For Zion’s sake I (Yahweh) will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns. (The whole purpose of God’s plan of salvation is to restore righteousness and peace in the entire universe by ending the war in heaven and destroying the cause of all evil in the lake of fire)
Isaiah 62:2. And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a NEW NAME, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Isaiah 62:3. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
Isaiah 62:4. You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: (According to Isaiah 53:4, we did esteem Jesus as being smitten by God.
And Jesus quoted Psalm 22 on the cross saying, “My God, why have You FORSAKEN me?”.
So, even Jesus thought for a brief moment that his God and Father had forsaken him) but you shall be called Hephzibah, (Or you shall be called My delight) and your land Beulah: for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.
Isaiah 62:5. For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: (Or become ONE with you even as you are ONE with Me, your God and Father, according to John 17:22-26) and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.”
Now all Christians know and understand that Jesus is the “bridegroom” and the church is the “bride” of Jesus.
And, according to Revelation 19:7-21, we know that the MARRIAGE bride that has made herself READY will take place at the coming of Jesus to make WAR against the armies fighting against God’s people, the Jews and the Christians.
And for Zion’s sake Yahweh will not hold His peace any longer.
And according to Hebrews 1:6, God will BRING His firstborn back into the world to be WORSHIPED in order to bring Him GLORY through His King of kings and Lord of lords.
The CONTEXT in Hebrews 1:3-5 clearly teaches us that the Son of God OBTAINED by INHERITANCE a more excellent NAME than the angels AFTER the cross and resurrection, WHEN he purged us from our sins and sat down at the right hand of God.
Now, Isaiah 62:2, which we just read, is an undeniable fact that Yahweh gave a PROPHECY that He Himself would give a NEW NAME to His Messiah.
And in Proverbs 30:4, we understand that the prophecy is asking us to give an answer concerning the name of the Creator and the name of His Son, if we can discern the name of Almighty God and the name of His Son.
I will highlight the words and pronouns that refer to Almighty God the Father in orange.
I will also highlight the words and pronouns that refer to the glorified Son of MAN, Jesus, in light blue.
Proverbs 30:4.
“Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? (Or more correctly translated, according to the LITERAL translation, “Who has ascended up into heaven and is descending”, speaking of the now glorified Son of MAN, descending at his coming to rule as God’s King of kings and Lord of lords during the world to come) Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, if you can tell?”
The meanings of the names in Proverbs 30:1 teach us that this is a PROPHECY concerning the matter between the Son of OBEDIENCE being made the God over the earth and the DEVOURER, Satan, the Devil challenging Jesus.
Let us read Proverbs 30:1 from the King James Version first, and then we will look up the meanings of the names.
Proverbs 30:1.
“The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the PROPHECY: the man spoke unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,”
So then, the first thing that we must understand is that Proverbs 30:4 is a PROPHECY of Almighty God the Father’s yet future Son who is being prophesied to ASCEND up into heaven and then DESCEND back down from heaven at the second coming of Jesus.
I highlighted the words “the man” and the name “Ucal” in green so that you can see that Ucal speaks first to Ithiel.
And then Ithiel asks Ucal the question in verse 4 if he can discern the NAME of God and the NAME of God’s Son.
This will all become clear when we understand the meanings of the names.
The name “Agur” means gathered or RECEIVED.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the name “Agur”.

Passive participle of H103; gathered (that is, received among the sages); Agur, a fanciful name of Solomon: - Agur.
Total KJV occurrences: 1.
And Jesus was RECEIVED up into heaven, according to Mark 16:19, Acts 1:9, Acts 3:21, and 1 Timothy 3:16.
The name “Jakeh” means to obey, as in, the one to obey. And it also means to be obedient to the one we are to obey. It is also a symbolical name for Solomon as well.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the name “Jakeh”.

From an unused root probably meaning to obey; obedient; Jakeh, a symbolical name (for Solomon): - Jakeh.
Total KJV occurrences: 1.
And thus, “Agur”, the one RECEIVED up into glory, is the Son of the one that he is to OBEY.
So, the name “Jakeh” can refer to either the Father, as the one to obey, or refer to the Son, as the obedient one.
The name “Ithiel” means “God has ARRIVED”. Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the name “Ithiel”.

Perhaps from H837 and H410; God has arrived; Ithiel, the name of an Israelite, also of a symbolic person: - Ithiel.
Total KJV occurrences: 3.
Now to me, the name “Ithiel” is referring to the Son of Almighty God the Father, as opposed to being Almighty God Himself.
I will explain why I say this in a moment. But first, let us look up the meaning of the name “Ucal” and the meaning of the word “man” in Proverbs 30:1.

Apparently from H398; devoured; Ucal, a fancy name: - Ucal.
Total KJV occurrences: 1.
Now, Satan goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may DEVOUR.
And Satan will also be devoured, burned up and consumed in the lake of fire on the final Day of Judgment.

Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Hebrew word “H398”.

A primitive root; to eat (literally or figuratively): - X at all, burn up, consume, devour (-er, up), dine, eat (-er, up), feed (with), food, X freely, X in . . . wise (-deed, plenty), (lay) meat, X quite.
Total KJV occurrences: 809.
So to me, the name “Ucal” is referring to the MAN who speaks to Ithiel, the God who has arrived in verse 1.
And the Hebrew word translated as “MAN” means a mighty one and also a warrior.
But it comes from the Hebrew word “garber” H1396, which means to act INSOLENTLY.
And Satan is a mighty one that has waged a WAR against God’s throne.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Hebrew word translated as “MAN”.

From H1396; properly a valiant man or warrior; generally a person simply: - every one, man, X mighty.
Total KJV occurrences: 65.
So, to me, the MAN who is prophesied to speak to Ithiel, the God who has arrived, is Satan.
In other words, Ucal is the insolent man that speaks to Uthiel in Proverbs 30:1-3.
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Hebrew root word “H1396”.

A primitive root; to be strong; by implication to prevail, act insolently: - exceed, confirm, be great, be mighty, prevail, put to more [strength], strengthen, be stronger, be valiant.
Total KJV occurrences: 25.
So then, Ucal is the INSOLENT arrogant warrior that speaks to Ithiel in Proverbs 30:1-3.
And then, Ithiel, the God who has ARRIVED speaks to Ucal, Satan, that INSOLENT warrior in Proverbs 30:4.
Now that you understand the meanings of the names and who they symbolically represent, let us read Proverbs 30:1-10 with the meanings of the names.
Proverbs 30:1-10.
“The words of Agur (The one RECEIVED up into heaven) the son of Jakeh, (The one to obey, Or the obedient Son of the one to obey who He received to sit at His right hand) even the PROPHECY: the MAN (That INSOLENT warrior) spoke unto Ithiel, (The God who has ARRIVED at the second coming of Jesus) even unto Ithiel and Ucal, (And Ithiel answered Ucal, that insolent warrior)
Proverbs 30:2. Surely, I (Ucal, the insolent warrior) am more brute than any man, (H376 meaning extant or existing. It also carries the meaning of being mortal.
So, Ucal or Satan is more BRUTE or violent than anyone existing, including mortals) and have not the understanding of a man. (H120 meaning Adam or humans. For had Satan known, he would not have crucified the Lord of glory)
Proverbs 30:3. I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy. (Or I, Ucal, speaking symbolically of Satan, do not learn wisdom or care for that which is holy.
Then in verse 4-10, the speaker changes and Ithiel, the God who has ARRIVED is now speaking to Ucal or Satan)
Proverbs 30:4. Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? (Or again, more correctly translated, according to the LITERAL translation, “Who has ascended up into heaven and is descending as the NEW God who has ARRIVED?”) Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if you can tell? (In other words, do you not know and understand that Almighty God GAVE me a NEW NAME that is HIGHER than every other NAME?)
Proverbs 30:5. Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.
Proverbs 30:6. Add you NOT unto His words, lest He reprove you, and you are found to be a liar.
Proverbs 30:7. Two things have I required of you; deny me them not before I die: (Or two things that Ithiel, the God who has arrived, requires before he KILLS or slays the wicked during the WRATH of Almighty God the Father)
Proverbs 30:8. Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: (Or thing number one that Jesus requires is to remove false teachings and lies, do not make excuses, and speak only the truth.
Remove false ACCUSATIONS against the brethren)
Proverbs 30:9. Lest I be full, and deny you, and say, Who is the LORD? Or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the NAME of my God in vain.
Proverbs 30:10. Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest He curse you, and you are found GUILTY.”
Now, the name “Ithiel” is found three times in the Bible, two times here in Proverbs 30:1-4 and one time in Numbers 11:7.
I said that I would explain further as to why I say that the name “Ithiel” refers to Jesus, the NEW God who has ARRIVED to rule as God over the whole earth, in the name of Yahweh, for his God and Father, for 1000 years.
Many times, when a word is found for the first time in the Bible, then the meaning of that word can be seen in that passage of Scripture.
And the name “Ithiel” is found first in Numbers 11:7.
You can look up the meanings in the concordance on E-Sword or another concordance for yourself.
I will only give you the meanings of each name in parenthesis after each name.
Numbers 11:7.
“And these are the sons of Benjamin; (Meaning the sons of the right hand) Sallu (Meaning the one WEIGHED, to hang up, tread down. And Satan is the one being WEIGHED or judged) the son of Meshullam, (Meaning allied, but also meaning RECOMPENSE.
In other words, Lucifer was ONCE allied with God before he rebelled and waged a war against God to deserve the recompense of God) the son of Joed, (Meaning appointed or summoned to TRIAL) the son of Pedaiah, (Meaning Yah has ransomed. And Yahweh has ransomed Jesus, not leaving his soul in Hell.
Yahweh glorified the Son of MAN, Jesus to be His WITNESS against Satan at his TRIAL to judge Satan GUILTY as charged) the son of Kolaiah, (Meaning the VOICE of Yah) the son of Maaseiah, (Meaning the work of Yah.
And according to Acts 2:36, Yahweh MADE the Son of MAN, Jesus both Lord and Christ AFTER the cross and resurrection) the son of Ithiel, (Meaning God has ARRIVED) the son of Jesaiah.”
And the name “Jesaiah” means Yah has SAVED. This Hebrew word is related closely with the name “Yeshua” the Hebrew name of Jesus, which means Yahweh saves and the salvation of Yahweh.
In other words, the NAME of Jesus is the ONLY NAME given among men whereby we MUST be saved, according to Acts 4:10-12.
To say this another way, every time we say the name “Jesus” Almighty God the Father hears the NEW NAME that He GAVE to the Son of MAN, Jesus AFTER the cross and resurrection.
Please read Revelation 3:11-13.
“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man takes your crown.
Revelation 3:12. Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the NAME of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my NEW NAME.
Revelation 3:13. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.”
In other words, the NEW NAME of Jesus is the SAME NAME as his God and Father, which all Christians SHOULD know is Yahweh, according to Exodus 3:15.
God’s name is NOT “I AM that I AM” as some Christians CLAIM.
Now, having the SAME NAME does NOT make Jesus to be one and the same BEING as his God and Father.
But rather, God the Father GAVE His human Son His all power and authority, so that in the NAME Yahweh, the HIGHEST God, all people will call Jesus Lord to the glory of the FATHER.
And thus, Jesus is ONE in AGREEMENT with his God and Father to do what his God and Father would do.
In other words, right now in this PRESENT world there are TWO lords or two separate gods over the earth, Yahweh, the Father, and Satan, the Devil.
And these two separate persons or beings are NOT one in agreement.
In fact, Satan is God’s ENEMY. But during the world to come there will be ONE Lord and His NAME shall be ONE NAME.
In other words, Yahweh’s NEW God that he PROMOTED to become the God over the whole earth, shall be ONE with his God and Father to rule in RIGHTEOUSNESS and PEACE having no wars for 1000 years.
Zechariah 14:9.
“And the LORD (Or and Yahweh) shall be king over all the earth: during that day shall there be ONE LORD, (Or during the world to come for 1000 years there will be ONE Yahweh) and His NAME ONE.”
Philippians 2:8-11 teaches us exactly WHEN and WHY the Son of MAN, Jesus was GIVEN a NEW NAME that is higher than any other NAME.
Philippians 2:8-11.
“And being found in fashion as a MAN, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:9. Wherefore (Or FOR the very REASON of the Son of MAN, Jesus, humbling himself to become obedient to his God and Father to die on the cross) God also has HIGHLY EXALTED him, and has GIVEN him a NAME which is above every name: (Now, to me, the only NAME that is ABOVE EVERY other name is the NAME of Almighty God the FATHER.
And the REASON for WHY Almighty God the Father GAVE His human Son His very own NAME is found in the next verse)
Philippians 2:10. THAT (Or so THAT) at the NAME of Jesus (Speaking of at the NEW NAME that Almighty God GAVE to the Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the cross and resurrection that is ABOVE every other NAME) every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Philippians 2:11. AND that every tongue should CONFESS that Jesus Christ is Lord, to THE GLORY of God the Father.”
So then, the PURPOSE of Yahweh GIVING His human Son, Jesus, the NAME “Yahweh” the only name ABOVE every other NAME is to bring GLORY to Almighty God the FATHER who MADE Jesus both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36.
For you see, when every knee bows down and worships at the NAME Yahweh AND every being in heaven, and on the earth and in the heart of the earth CONFESSES that the HIGHLY EXALTED Son of MAN is Lord, then the NAME of Yahweh will be exonerated and GLORIFIED by the entire Universe.
And the WAR of one side of heaven against the other side of heaven will END for all eternity right after the FINAL war at the end of the 1000-year reign of Jesus.

Once Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even atheists understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands.
And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
