Book 7 Chapter 6.
The Lamb SLAIN From the FOUNDATION of the World!
Clearly, the Lamb of God was NOT LITERALLY slain in the eternity past BEFORE anything was created.
In the previous chapters, chapters 1- 5 of Book 7 “There is But ONE God!”, we have covered all of the verses used in the Trinitarian arguments to try to prove that Jesus is a so-called second person of a so-called Trinity Godhead EXCEPT for John 1:1-14.
And we found that NONE of those verses prove that God is a so-called Trinity Godhead.
And neither do they prove that a Son of God pre-existed in all eternity past.
And according to John’s INTENDED meaning of the WHOLE gospel of John in John 20:30,31, Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
John 20:30,31.
“And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
John 20:31. But these are written, THAT (Or in ORDER THAT) you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name.”
So, to me, John never INTENDED His words in John 1:1 to mean that the Son of God pre-existed as God the Son, the second person of a Godhead Trinity God.
Now, while I already have many LONG in-depth Bible studies on these verses of Scripture in John chapter 1, I do not have any SHORT studies that focus on SPECIFIC points found in this passage of Scripture.
And thus, each of the remaining chapters will be BOTH individual Verse Studies AND a chapter in Book 7.
So then, here in chapter 6, I will use the VERSE Study that I wrote on John 1:1(a), the first phrase in John 1:1.
And thus, if you have already read that Verse Study, then chapter 6 will be a repeat of what you have already read.
Not that it will hurt you to refresh your memory, but I thought I would let you know that chapter 6 is the SAME study as John 1:1(a).
The only difference is that in this chapter version, I quote from the Trinitarian article.
With that being said, let us begin chapter 6 of Book 7.
Again, in chapter 1 of Book 7 “There is But ONE God!”, we learned that there is MORE than just ONE God.
And we learned that some of those gods under Yahweh rebelled.
To say this another way, one third of the Elohim rebelled and waged a WAR against the ALMIGHTY God and the Elohim that remained faithful to their Creator.
The English translations say the angels in Psalm 8:5, but the Hebrew word is Elohim.
And thus, God made man and the Son of MAN a little lower than the Elohim or a little inferior than the gods.
We also learned that even many Trinitarian Bible scholars openly admit that the doctrine of the Trinity is IMPOSSIBLE to completely understand, let alone explain to others.
But the Apostle Paul teaches us the gospel of Jesus in SIMPLICITY.
2 Corinthians 11:3,4.
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:4. For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have NOT preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.”
In other words, Paul is teaching us to make sure that what our church denomination teaches us AGREES with what the Apostles of Jesus teach us in the New Testament.
Here are two quotes from a Trinitarian website called Got Questions.
“The most difficult thing about the Christian concept of the Trinity is that there is no way to perfectly and completely understand it.”
“The Trinity is a concept that is impossible for any human being to fully understand, let alone explain.”
But what the Bible ITSELF teaches is very SIMPLE to understand and very easy to explain to others.
This Verse Study on the word “beginning” in John 1:1(a) is from chapter 7 of the Book called John 1:1 Made SIMPLE!.
But this truth is so vital to help Christians understand WHY Jesus is called God, I was impressed to add it here in Book 7 called B-7 Ch1 There is But ONE God!

Again, in this Verse Study on John 1:1(a), the first phrase in John 1:1, we will learn some FACTS to consider while studying the CONTEXT in John 1:1-14.
John 1:1 has three phrases that Bible teachers label as John 1:1(a), John 1:1(b), and John 1:1(c).
The lowercase letters “a,b,c” simply mean phrase number one, the first phrase, phrase number 2, the middle phrase, and phrase number 3, the last phrase in the verse.
And thus, for longer verses of Scripture, the lowercase letters, “d and e” would mean the fourth and fifth phrases in those verses of Scripture.
And thus, when you are reading a Christian book or article and the writer quotes a verse of Scripture using three dots like the following three examples, then know and understand that they are quoting only PART of that verse of Scripture.
Most writers do this to save space to make their article shorter.
John 1:1(a) from the KJV.
“In the beginning was the Word…”
John 1:1(b) from the KJV.
“... and the Word was God…”
John 1:1(c) from the KJV.
“...and the Word was God.”
This is just a way to SIMPLIFY some of the more controversial verses of Scripture that are debated among Christians.
And by controversial, I mean what is the TRUE sound Biblical God INTENDED meaning when all the verses are correctly translated and correctly interpreted in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.
In this Verse Study, we will be focusing on the first phrase that is “translated” as “In THE beginning…” in the KJV.
However, the literal word for word translation from the Textus Receptus translates ONLY the words that are actually in the original Greek text.
And thus, the LITERAL translation of John 1:1(a), says, In beginning was THE logos (Which is translated as THE SAYING)...
“In beginning was THE SAYING…”
Here is how the concordance in E-Sword defines the Greek word “logos”.
Also, keep in mind that in other English “translations” both before and after the King James Version, the English word “Word” in the KJV was NOT capitalized.
And the pronoun referring back to the word was the pronoun “it” in other English translations both before and after the KJV.

Total KJV occurrences: 330.
Now, to me, NONE of the meanings of the Greek word “logos” even hint as the “logos” being a Divine eternal Spirit being who was supposedly with THE God at the side of God in the eternity past as some Christians dogmatically demand the Greek word “logos” to mean in 7 places in the New Testament.
In other words, out of 330 times that the Greek word “logos” is used in the New Testament, there are only SEVEN times that the “translated” English word is capitalized as the “Word”.
But, in truth, THE “logos” or THE word simply means a specific word such as let there be LIGHT and THE light came to be some four thousand years later as the Light of the world.
Again, I will cover those FACTS about the Greek word “logos” in another Verse Study in chapter 7 of the Book 7 called “There is But ONE God!”
In that chapter, we will cover John 1:1(b) with the focus on the Greek word “pros” that is incorrectly translated as WITH God in the KJV.
And here in this Verse Study, I will focus on the true sound Biblical God intended meaning of the word “beginning” in the New Testament.
Please notice that there is no definite article THE before the word “beginning” in John 1:1(a).
And thus, one cannot dogmatically demand that John 1:1(a) means in the very beginning in the eternity past.
So then, to learn the truth, we compare Scripture with Scripture.
Now, I have known for many years that the beginning in John 1:1 and in Genesis 1:1 is NOT the very beginning in the eternity past.
But today, for the first time, I was impressed to look up every verse of Scripture in the New Testament with the phrase “the beginning” to see if any verses HAVE the definite article THE in the original Greek text.
And here are the SIX verses of Scripture that HAVE the definite article THE before the word beginning out of the 43 places that the phrase is “TRANSLATED” as the beginning in the KJV.
In other words, the KJV has ADDED the definite article “the” before the word “beginning” in 37 verses of Scripture where it is NOT found in the original Greek text.
I have included Strong’s numbers so that you can see that the definite article “THE” is indeed in the original Greek text.
But if you look up the other 37 places for yourself, then you will see that the definite article “the” was ADDED by the translators of the KJV.
I will only quote the last verse in Revelation 22:13 to show the DIFFERENCE between Yahweh speaking the SAME words in Revelation 21:6 and His Son Jesus speaking in Revelation 22:13.
Here are the only 6 verses out of the 23 verses that ACTUALLY have the definite article “the” in the original Greek text before the word “beginning” to read THE beginning.
But even the phrase THE beginning does NOT dogmatically mean the very beginning in the eternity past before ANYTHING was created by God.
For you see, the Bible clearly teaches us that God RESTORED the earth in Genesis 1:3-21.

The Greek word that is translated as the “world” means AGE.
And there was a PREVIOUS AGE of the earth BEFORE God created MAN and the Son of MAN a little lower than the Elohim or gods, according to Psalm 8:1-6 and many other verses of Scripture.

The Greek word translated as “beginning” is a different Greek word which means before the time. In other words, THE time before they became a Christian.
Rev 3:14 AndG2532 unto theG3588 angelG32 of theG3588 churchG1577 of the LaodiceansG2994 write;G1125 These thingsG3592 saithG3004 theG3588 Amen,G281 theG3588 faithfulG4103 andG2532 trueG228 witness,G3144 theG3588 beginningG746 of theG3588 creationG2937 of God;G2316
The word “of” is not in the original text. And thus, this verse could be translated as, “..THE beginning, THE creation, theos.”
And this can mean the beginning, the creation of Almighty God, or the beginning, the creation of a god under and subject to God, the Creator and maker of ALL of the gods under Him.
Both interpretations AGREE with the rest of the Scriptures.
But, for the Christians who do not know how do we decide which translation is best?
The answer is that we compare Scripture with Scripture.
So, how do we do that? We find similar words such as the phrase “faithful witness”.
Then we do a word search for those words. And in Revelation 1:5, we see where Jesus is called the “faithful witness”, the FIRST begotten from the DEAD.
So, to me, the faithful and true WITNESS or faithful martyr in Revelation 3:14 is THE beginning of THE creation of Yahweh BEGETTING His HUMAN Son from the DEAD to BEGIN being in the FORM of God.
In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GIVEN the DIVINE NATURE of immortality AFTER the cross and resurrection.
Now, when I study God’s word, the Holy Spirit brings other verses to my remembrance. And the word “beginning” means to BEGIN something NEW.
And the meaning of the Greek word “morphē” translated as “being in the FORM of God” in Philippians 2:6 literally means to BEGIN under in the FORM of God.

Again, Jesus is the FIRST human Son of God to be made a partaker of the divine nature of immortality, the firstborn from the DEAD, the firstborn among many BRETHREN, the firstborn of EVERY CREATURE made in the IMAGE or in the FORM of the invisible God.
And all of these phrases with the words firstborn and first begotten are referring to God’s NEW creatures where Jesus is the BEGINNING of God’s NEW creatures of righteousness made PERFECT or COMPLETE, according to Hebrews 5:9-11.
Here is the sixth and final verse of Scripture that actually has the definite article “the” in the original Greek text.
And I will also quote Revelation 22:13 that does NOT have the definite article in the original Greek text to show that it was ADDED by the translators of the KJV.
Rev 21:6 AndG2532 he saidG2036 unto me,G3427 It is done.G1096 IG1473 amG1510 (G3588) AlphaG1 andG2532 (G3588) Omega,G5598 theG3588 beginningG746 andG2532 theG3588 end.G5056 IG1473 will giveG1325 unto him that is athirstG1372 ofG1537 theG3588 fountainG4077 of theG3588 waterG5204 of lifeG2222 freely.G1432
The one speaking here is Yahweh, the one who sits on the throne, the Creator of the universe.
The CONTEXT says the God HIMSELF will come down out of heaven at the END of the Millennial reign of Jesus, and He, God HIMSELF, who sits on the throne, will create the new heaven and the new earth.
Now, when Jesus says these same words in the next chapter in Revelation 22:13, the definite article THE is NOT used in the original Greek text. And thus, it was ADDED by the translators of the KJV.

And when you put all of the pieces together, THE beginning of the AGE in Ephesians 3:9 is speaking of the age AFTER the Elohim waged a WAR against Yahweh and the other Elohim.
Let us go ahead and read that verse from the literal word for word translation of the Textus Receptus.
The LITERAL translation of Ephesians 3:9.
“And to enlighted ALL what the fellowship of the SECRET, the having been kept from the foundation of the AGE in THE God, the ONE creating THE ALL in Jesus ANOINTED”
In other words, Yahweh is dethroning Satan and the fallen Elohim and PROMOTING His FAITHFUL human sons to REPLACE the Elohim.
And Jesus is the FIRST human Son of God to be PROMOTED or highly exalted to be made a Lord of lords and a King of kings.
We all came SHORT of this GLORY, because we all have SINNED. But Jesus was tempted in all points like we are tempted and was found to be WITHOUT sin.
And because of his obedience to obey all of his God and Father’s will, Yahweh HIGHLY EXALTED His human Son and SET him upon His throne at His right hand side.
To say this another way, Jesus is the first human Son to OVERCOME and found WORTHY to be GLORIFIED.
And because he LIVES, WE shall LIVE also if we hold fast to the confidence of our faith which we had in THE BEGINNING when we were born-again by hearing the gospel of our salvation.
For in the word is LIGHT and the light or true understanding is LIFE.
Do you see how every verse of Scripture AGREES with the word in John 1:1 as being the spoken word of PROPHECY that is FULFILLED in Jesus being the FULFILLMENT of the prophecy to be made a god under and subject to his God and Father?
Take your time to look at ALL of the sides of this CONTROVERSY as to what John 1:1 TRULY means in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.
Always feel free to write and ask as many questions as you need.
And as you weigh the evidence from all of the other teachings of who Jesus is to THEM or to their church denomination, keep in mind the question, “What gospel will the Jews and the Muslims BELIEVE?”
Will the monotheistic unsaved Jews even listen to the MAN Jesus being Almighty God HIMSELF in the flesh?
For you see, the FIRST Christians were the Jews. There were no Mulsims yet, not until Muhammad came.
But there were those of the seedline of Abraham through the lineages of Ishmael and Esua, which comprise what today are called Muslims, who are also monotheistic.
So, in conclusion, I myself see the beginning in John 1:1(a) and in Genesis 1:1 as being ANOTHER beginning and NOT the very beginning in the eternity past.
And this NEW beginning began by Yahweh CUTTING DOWN His ENEMIES in His wrath.
And during His wrath, the earth BECAME void and without form and darkness was upon the face of the abyss.
