Letters from readers
NGM no longer includes letters from readers. If the occasion arises to include reader feedback, generally follow these guidelines.
For the title of an article, generally use the one given on the contents page. If that is not clear, use the title from the opening spread or a more generic wording.
In signatures, do not include academic degrees, military rank, or other titles and affiliations unless relevant to the subject of the letter. If a title follows a name, write it on a separate line with no punctuation after the personal name.

For the U.K. use city/town and England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.
For all other signatures use city/town and country.
