These guys were fast and efficient.
Back to buckets and scrubbing grime.
My lovely living room.
Mikale doing a great job saving the wood. Oh...yeah, the water was POURING out of that light fixture.
My lovely downstairs bathroom.
This is a strange "box" in the wall of the Adirondack room - as you can see it is full of dripping water.
These are all kitchen holes.
We have a pretty small kitchen.
So...this is significant
An entire section of cabinet needed to be removed for this hole.
This is the boys' bathroom. The shower piping is broken, so a hole needed to be made in the shower. In the tiles. That's easy to fix, right?
Hole by the toilet.
Hole under the shelving.
And while there is technically no hole here...the entire vanity had to be removed to get to the source of the problem. So....yeah....
So...during all the experiments, water began to back up...or maybe not drain...in the tub...
And the toilet! I thought dead rodent and then it was suggested that perhaps the kids who partied in the house when it was vacant used the facilities...and THAT'S what was blocking it up. UMMM...EW.
And this kid. Bless this kid for showing up, scrubbing for hours, and always coming up with a solution - like SIPHONING the friggin toilet!!! I shouted, "MIKALE, we don't pay you enough!!!!" And thankfully, by the time they located the hose, the water was going down by itself!!!! (THANK GOODNESS - Beryl, if you are reading this, I would NEVER let your son do that!)
Sometimes you need to think quick because there just aren't enough buckets.
So much wet drywall....
The mood of the day...
