The plumber came today. We do not have running water thanks to the numerous leaks...and when I say numerous, I mean more than 5 and walls will have to be opened. I will update when I have more news and am done crying in the corner.

This is the wall in Finn's room. My contractor showed me how to gauge out the cracks and fill it with joint compound.

That glow, that sheen - it's sweat. I am soaking with sweat. And it's going great - me and the spackle.
This will make for a flat surface for when I want to prime with the nasty, oil-based Kilz - cuz that's the good stuff.

Here I am, late for the Town Library Board meeting...not fresh from a shower, but speeding down Route 20 with the windows down hoping the wind will dry my sweat soaked hair. Spoiler alert - it did not.

Lastly, I'd like to blame this post being done so late on my dear friend Tanya. She is a fellow mom and member of the library board. After the board meeting she kept me in the parking lot, laughing and chatting for a good hour. (Truth, we do this EVERY MONTH after the board meeting. I think I do most of the talking - shocker - and I cherish this hour with her because we do a lot of laughing.) So, sorry not sorry. Also, when I got home I was ravenous. I forgot things like the internet existed and I ate while watching _Bohemian Rhapsody_ on the couch with Bill and Liam.
