Here's my makeshift kitchen for now. Finn's eating some meatballs. The back deck is a super mega mess right now, but there's room for a camp stove and a plate of meatballs.

I'm sorry I don't have more pictures to share. I spent the whole day painting the kitchen cabinets. Liam took hauled trash to the newly emptied dumpster and finished bleaching the mud room. It was a super productive day.

My favorite part of the day (other than finishing the bathroom) was getting a surprise visit from some friends who hadn't seen the house yet. Sometimes people think they are interrupting "work" - but frankly, I need the interruptions. And it's so fun to share the Firkin with friends. It makes me hopeful and excited for get togethers in the future. (Thanks for stopping by M, K, M, and J!!)
