Today I leave you with this beautiful barn. We don't know what we are going to do with it yet. It's a bit unsafe, rotten floors inside...but otherwise kind of structurally sound. Either way, we love it. What was this barn used for 150 years ago? Was is just for supplies or were animals housed in here? Do you think a kiss was ever stolen inside there? Did a farmer build it with his son? His neighbors? Did the wives help? Did they make sandwiches and bring lemonade (I know it's a new era, but I would have happily done either - hammered nails OR made sandwiches). Who put on the last coat of paint? I have so many questions when I look at this barn. Maybe one day you will swing by, take a walk around, and come up with some of your own....this property has a dreamy quality about it.
