A new coat

I went back and read a whole bunch of old posts...looking back on all the hard work we did and how far we've come. One of the things I kept repeating was how I couldn't wait to have people over and entertain....who knew there'd be a pandemic??? It's a bittersweet pill to swallow. A whole year out since the Corona Virus landed on our shores and we still can't invite our friends over for a mug of hot cocoa and some warm rolls. I am so so grateful for this place, though. I couldn't wish for a cozier, more beautiful spot to live through this crazy time.

Chin up, friends! Vaccines are rolling out, hopefully that herd immunity thing will start doing what it does...and one day I can invite all the people over.
