It's fair to say I knit no less than 15 hats on this loom in the cozy, amazing Adirondack room this winter during the lockdown, quarantine, whatever you want to call it. Currently, I'm up to around 50 hats. I plan to donate them to a shelter - hopefully some place will want to warm some heads...cuz...there's a lot of hats.
The last thing to do is have the floors finished. We had a guy out, he gave an estimate and we accepted. All that's left is to set the date.
The mini-splits, the fancy-ish heating/cooling units are still broken, and yes, that one is still hanging off the wall. Bill and I tried to reattach it and Freon came shooting out...it's very hard to find a guy to come out and service these. In the meantime, we sweat...
The back decks. This is what they look like on an average day, which makes me happy. We swim, we eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner out here on a good day. But, they need to be sanded and painted and about 20% of the boards are rotten and need to be replaced.
All the walls, like this front hallway and the living room in the background, need to be painted. This hallway isn't even primed! A lot of the house is, that's what I did last summer with all the Kilz. I couldn't do it in the spring when it was too cold to keep the windows open. So now...it's time to pick up the brushes and get back to work.
