I started a wood pile in one part of our basement. This wood pile looks pathetic, but it took two "tractor" loads. When I say tractor, I mean glorified lawn mower with a trailer. I would also like to note that I attempted to chop some of this wood with an awl. Also pathetic. It's a very good thing we live in the woods on a quiet road. Straight. Up. Embarrassing.
I also filled the super cool wood storage hidey hole (yes, that's what I call it) in the Adirondack room. It was cold on Sunday and I had this baby running hot all day. It was delightful. I can't wait for the day when we have furniture in this room and I can curl up with a book in here....
I tossed out the rest of the dry wall and shop-vacced all the ick.
Then I mopped with Murphy's Oil - love that stuff. Some of the floor clearly needs to be replaced, but for now, at least it's clean...ish.
I started on the mold. These doors, the closet doors, were black with mold, but now they are getting close to white again.
For a short while, some original siding was also exposed. Kinda cool.
