We received a letter that our homeowner's policy will be cancelled in a few weeks if we don't have some ducks in a row. Four ducks to be exact. One was the roof (check), another was the broken trampoline (check)...the other two...only my contractor and a skilled painter can deal with.

My mom offered to help pay for the painting of the exterior of the house as a birthday present. I had a painter friend come over to give me an estimate. I think my mom should go back to offering to get us a couch.

Liam started a project today. We found a super cheap, used dining table on Facebook Marketplace for $60. We are going to sand it, paint it with polyurethane, and have ourselves a lovely outdoor dinner table. We are on the hunt for some chairs to upcycle...

Our kitchen project has also gone into high gear. Bill took out all the shelves and hardware, also the cooktop. We are going to paint all the cabinets white. Look what Bill found while cleaning - someone had a Super Bowl party...how fun.
