Today I called in the troops. And, for those who work with me, you will get the joke in the title. But seriously, having all those hands today was amazing. I am so grateful these kids are willing to help out.

To keep energy high, I popped popcorn on the front lawn with the camp stove.

And, I got to use my new oven for the first time! It's wonderful.

We also had carpet installed on the third story landing today. It's a small space, but who knows what had happened to or on the old carpet? And with all the mold and what not that was in the house, it was imperative that we replace it. Nothing fancy to see here...in fact, I've hardly had a minute to remember I have a third floor...there's just too much to do every where else...

My contractor left these on the back deck where all the major work is going on right now. Which makes me fairly certain this stuff is basically holding the Firkin together...well...I saw some cement being mixed the other day...but, there's at least two cans of "GREAT STUFF: Big Gap Filler." And boy do we have big gaps....

And don't be fooled by this photo. This guy got TONS of exercise and attention from all the young people on the property today. In fact, I'm certain he's unconscious under a table somewhere as I write this...dreaming of his swims and ball chases...
