In this project, we were asked to design a 6-storey apartment which will intergrate in the design of the village itself. Located at Kampung Sinjan, Kampung Tanjung and Kampung Tupong Batu, the site covers approximately 7.15 acres. The main client are existing villagers but are also open for future residents. My approach are mainly to create a space which relive the essence of the old day of malay villages. This project also required a masterplanning process which the apartment will be integral part of. Masterplanning is a detailed process of designing the circulation and acessibility to the site, open spaces and also green area which will make the whole site to be more cohesive.
