"Padma"

The main inspiration behind this garment is the flower Rafflesia. The flower is a distinctive flower that mostly can be found in Borneo. The unique part about the flower is its size and the patterns on its petals. The garment took these unique characters and implement it in the design. The garment is shape like a raincoat and the petals would act as its skin. The skin limits the users hand movement in order to protect them from touching things that may be infected with the virus. The diaphragm or the collar covers half of the users face in order to protect their face from the virus. The garments is named ‘Padma’ which is another word for the flower Rafflesia.
