CURATORIAL STATEMENT

"QUARANTEAM 2.0" is the second Virtual Exhibition by UNIMAS Architecture (Bachelor of Science (Honours) Architecture), a continuation to our first QUARANTEAM exhibition. This exhibition represents a semester of exploration, research, critical-thinking, problem-solving, design and production for Semester 2 - 2020/2021 .

Traditionally held on campus, our end semester exhibition has to depart from its traditional format of installations to virtual platform displays. Due to the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, we worked hard to create an exhibition that can be explored through virtual platform.

We, as the university community, especially the students, have been working under unimaginable constraints and isolated with a spectrum of emotions. However, together we are unified with the same purpose. The name "QUARANTEAM" intends to show the spirit of virtual togetherness during isolation, taking on challenges and breaking down barriers caused by the pandemic through creativity. "QUARANTEAM" celebrates and showcases all the hard work from the three (3) cohorts while advancing new ideas and connecting all students.
