The precedent study is based on a riverside/ boardwalk activity at an urban area in Malaysia or overseas. Students are to study in detail the space planning and design elements of the building/ linkages, discuss the interesting features of this development and demonstrate the understanding of architectural elements, environmental factors or the existing site context that contribute to the success/failure of the design.

ForMi-Tech has the meaning of forest meet technology emphasis on the connection between human and nature, contrasting “soft” and “hard”. It creates experiences that guide the users to understand the importance of nature and the possibility of integrating technology with nature. ForMi-Tech provide digital sports which merge electronic technology and sports activities. Digital sports are a new generation of social activities that can be integrated online and globally regardless of the venue. Digital sports provided in ForMi-Tech are HD multisports where users can play various kind of sports indoor with a screen, virtual reality treadmill where users can play various kind of sports indoor and lastly is the virtual reality gym where the users can enjoy a gym in a limited space separated from other users.
