The concept of our group’s masterplan is to bring back the life of Blacksmith road by looking back to its history of a place which is known for the craftsmanship, industrial and fisherman activities. Besides, it also reminiscing the past and implement the arrangement of fisherman village nearby (random and informality arrangement of the village houses). And the reuse of shipping containers in order to create the structure of a building, their appeal lies in their apparent simplicity.

Site A is more towards the social life activities and is a place for people to have some of their “me time” either alone or with their families, friends and the beloved one. The proposed programmes are something related to the recycling association.

Site B (The Alterer) is a processing area where the selected scrap from Site C being processed to form a new product. It also functions as the transportation hub and it connects Site A and Site C with an industrial - liked bridge.

Site C acts as an educational learning hub/ workshops. The structure of building is made of second hand shipping containers. Due to their convenient size, shipping containers are well – suited for use in houses and their appeal lies in their apparent simplicity.
