MICHELLE JENNEKE

Michelle Jenneke is an Australian hurdler and model. She was born on June 23, 1993 in Kenthurst (Australia).

She is member of the Athletics team in Australia.

She studied at the University of Sydney.

She won 1 silver medal in 100 meters hurdles at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. She won the 100 meters hurdles at the 2016 Australian Athletics Championships to qualify for the Rio Olympic Games.

Her specialties are 100 meters hurdles and relays.

Michelle Jenneke became quite popular because of an ‘Iconic’ dance she used as warm-up during a competition.

Her famous pre-race dance has almost two million views on YouTube since it was posted in 2012! In an interview she described her dance as something she didn’t really invent. “It’s just something that happened in one of my races. Someone filmed it and decided to post it on YouTube.” Jenneke said.

Her nickname is SHELLY.
