Karolina Kurková

Karolina Kurková was born in Czech Republic in 1984. She is a 34-year-old model. Her eyes are green, her hair is blonde and she is the mother of two children. Before being a model people usually made jokes about her height. At the age of 15 a friend of her sent some photos of her to an agency in Prague. She started doing small things like runway appearences and gigs for commercials and advertisings. Later on she signed a modeling contract in Milan with Prada.

At the age of 16 Karolina was chosen by Victoria Secret to be a part of “The Angels”. Karolina Kurková worked for important fashion brands like Yves Sain Laurent, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, John Galliano, Mango, Versace... In 2002 Karolina Kurkova was named “Model of the Year” at the 2002 Vogue Fashion Awards. In 2004 she was presented on the American Vogue as one of the “Models of the moment”. As an Angel, she received a star on the Hollywood “Walk of Fame”. In 2008 she appeared on the February 2008 cover of Esquire re-creating the classic 1966 Angie Dickinson cover the anniversary of the magazine.

Apart from modeling, Kurková outstands due to her acting skills in cinema and television. She appeared on G.I. Joe The rise of Cobra, My Sexiest Year and also on TV shows like “Das per- fekte model”, 30 rock and Person of Interest.

In relation to her personal life, she lives in New York. She loves going to basketball games at Madison Square Garden. On 2009 she reported that she had hypothyroidism, what caused her physique problems. On the same year she announced that she was waiting her first child with Archie Drury before getting married. On 2015 she announced that they were expecting a second baby.

Another skill that defines Karolina Kurkova is her Charity contritbuions. On 2006 she received an award from “Women-Together” for her humanitarian work. On 2004 she was named on of the worlds 50 most beautiful people by People Magazine. In 2012 she was honored as “Style Icon” at the Vienna Awards for fashion and Lifestyle.
