FRANCHESCA RAMSEY

Franchesca Ramsey was born on November 29th, 1983), she is also known as Chescaleigh, she is an American comedian, activist, television and YouTube personality, and actress, who has appeared on many of the most important and popular American cable channels.

She gained fame in the media quickly after she made a commentary on racial issues on YouTube that went viral. The title of the 2012 You Tube video is “Shit White Girls Say ... to Black Girls.”

She built a career as a writer too, and in 2018 she published the book Well, (That Escalated Quickly: Memoirs and Mistakes of an Accidental Activist), where she describes her experience in activism.

Ramsey has also been a TV producer and she hosted a podcast with her husband Patrick called Last Name Basis where the couple talked about their lives and the world around them.

She has two You Tube channels with thousands of subscribers and more than 29 million views. And she is an active video blogger and social media influencer. She has suffered online abuse many times.

In her job as a comedian, video blogger or social media consultant she gives advice on blogging, viral marketing, social justice or using social media responsibly.
